My response is quite simple. After being blessed to serve in executive leadership roles for over 25 years, I feel it is important to put that experience into service in my home community. My work life is and has been wonderful, but is primarily focused in the Knoxville area with some reach into other counties. The Blount County community has always been my home and I would feel it to be an honor to serve and provide leadership there.

I believe the County Commission is an ideal way to serve both my immediate district 10 neighbors as well as the overall county. From family, faith organizations, businesses, schools, sports communities, and many others, the relationships I have across Blount County are a huge blessing in my life. Without others to lean on, work and laugh with, life just would not be very enjoyable. These broad and deep relationships will prove to be invaluable as I seek to represent the community in the decisions the County Commission is asked to make.
